Its main highlight is the second-generation ScreenPad, a small secondary display built into the touchpad. Along with that feature, the laptop offers a matte IPS screen, modern Intel hardware for its class, and a thin chassis that stays easy to carry.

In practical use, the ZenBook 14 UX434 looks strongest as a mobile productivity notebook. It is not positioned as a gaming system, but its GeForce MX250 graphics can handle lighter graphics work and some games at reduced settings. The main trade-offs are limited upgrade options, no Thunderbolt support, and faster battery drain when the ScreenPad is active.

Design and Portability

The ZenBook 14 UX434 follows the familiar ZenBook style with a slim body, narrow side bezels, and a Royal Blue finish. The chassis is light at 1.26 kg, which makes it well suited for frequent travel or commuting. ASUS also uses its ErgoLift hinge, which raises the rear of the laptop slightly when the lid is open. This improves typing angle and helps airflow.

The build is described as solid overall, though the thin display lid can flex under stronger pressure. Access for upgrades is limited. The memory is soldered, so it cannot be expanded later, and storage is the main area with room for change.

Display, Audio, and Webcam

The 14-inch matte IPS display has Full HD resolution and is one of the stronger parts of this model.
