Overview

Lenovo Yoga 6 (13ARE05) is a 13.3-inch convertible laptop focused on portability and everyday comfort. This configuration uses an AMD Ryzen 7 4700U, 16 GB of memory, and a 1 TB SSD. The model stands out with a fabric-covered lid and a 360-degree hinge, so it can be used as both a notebook and a tablet.

Design and Build

The key design element is the blue fabric lid with a dirt-resistant coating. It gives the laptop a different look compared with typical metal or plastic models. The chassis is compact and light, and build quality is described as solid. The bottom panel can be removed for SSD access, but system memory is soldered.

Display, Audio, and Webcam

The 13.3-inch IPS touchscreen offers Full HD resolution and support for stylus input (stylus not included). The panel is reported with full sRGB coverage and no PWM, which is good for long sessions. Peak brightness is around 300 nits, suitable indoors but limited under strong sunlight. The two speakers support Dolby Audio, while the 1 MP webcam includes a physical shutter and dual microphones.

Keyboard and Touchpad

The island-style keyboard has white backlighting and quiet key presses. Arrow up/down keys are vertically compressed, which may require adjustment. The touchpad supports multitouch gestures and is responsive in daily use. A fingerprint scanner is placed next to the touchpad.

Performance

With the Ryzen 7 4700U and integrated Radeon Vega 7 graphics, this Yoga 6 configuration is positioned for productive everyday workloads and light content or media tasks. The 1 TB PCIe SSD provides fast storage response, and 16 GB RAM is sufficient for multitasking in typical office and browser workflows. The tradeoff is limited upgradeability because memory is onboard.

Ports and Battery Life

The laptop includes two USB 3.0 ports, two USB Type-C ports (one used for charging), and a combo audio jack. Wireless connectivity is based on Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0. The 60 Wh battery is rated up to 18 hours by the vendor; in the source test context, practical results were lower but still strong, around 11.5 hours of web use and about 12 hours of video playback.

Verdict

Lenovo Yoga 6 is a practical premium convertible for users who want mobility, touchscreen flexibility, and distinctive design in a compact 13-inch format. Its strongest points are the lightweight build, balanced performance, good display characteristics, and long battery endurance in light workloads. The main compromise is non-upgradable memory.
